In this tutorial I will show you how to create an endless bicycle chain image brush in Affinity Designer.
The single chain link is constructed from circular segments and by means of the boolean operations. In addition, I show how text can be placed on a curvy path and the studs are decorated with the metal style.
This tutorial was created with Affinity Designer 1.5.5 and recorded an edited with Camtasia:mac 2.10.8.
For sound recording, I use a ZOOM H1 recorder with a SONY ECM-CS3 microphone and Audacity for editing.
For video compression and web optimization of my tutorials, I use HandBrake version 1.0.7.
