03 Focus stacking – Affinity Photo

Since version 1.5 of Affinity Photo, we are able to create focus stacks. In this short tutorial I show you how to create a picture from several photos with the help of the new Photo Merge function.

Focus Stacking is a digital image processing process where several images with different sharpening depth areas are calculated in a single image with a larger sharpening depth range (https://de.wikipedia.org/wiki/Focus_stacking).

The tutorial was created with Affinity Photo 1.5.1 and recorded and edited with Camtasia: mac 2.10.8.
