04 Record macros – Affinity Photo

In this tutorial I will explain how you can automate work steps in Affinity Photo Version 1.5.1 with the new macro tool and library.

The example shows how to create a macro that creates a frame with a transparent rectangle around your photos. This frame is a separate layer and can be changed at any time after executing the macro in color, opacity, line strength and all other attributes of a rectangle.

The example shows only one of infinitely many possibilities. You can also create very fast editable vignettes around your pictures with a similar technique.

The tutorial was created with Affinity Photo 1.5.1 and recorded and edited with Camtasia: mac 10.8.4.
