In this tutorial, I will show you how to use the new symbol tool in Affinity Designer to create a seamless repeating pattern.
These patterns are very often used in printing technology (wallpaper, wrapping paper, etc.) or in web applications as small, fast-loading backgrounds. The pattern in the tutorial resembles the chain link of a bicycle chain, which is always staggered directly superimposed.
